Westside FC

Westside FC is a Sunday-league youth football club competing in the Surrey Youth League, represented from U7 to U16 and based in Wimbledon.

At SMSC and Westside, we are committed to delivering the highest quality coaching and care for your children. Our coaching philosophy and methods are aligned with The FA’s youth development framework - age-appropriate, player-centred sessions that maximise ball-rolling time and build confident, creative footballers.

We’re proud of our scale and community impact: today we support 40 teams and 400+ registered players, with every team coached by SMSC staff to a consistent standard of care and coaching.

Every member of our coaching team is FA-qualified and holds an up-to-date DBS certification. Whenever we welcome a new coach, we ensure that—alongside meeting the above criteria—they are fully trained in safeguarding practices and first aid. Our coaches also complete regular refresher courses so their training never becomes outdated.
