Westside FC is a Sunday-league youth football club based in Wimbledon. Our boys’ teams compete in the Surrey Youth League and our girls’ teams in the South West Girls Football League (SWGFL).

At SMSC and Westside, we are committed to delivering the highest quality coaching and care for your children. Our coaching philosophy and methods are aligned with The FA’s youth development framework - age-appropriate, player-centred sessions that maximise ball-rolling time and build confident, creative footballers.

We’re proud of our scale and community impact: today we support 65 teams, including 14 girls’ teams, and more than 500 registered players, with every team coached by SMSC staff to a consistent standard of care and coaching.

Every member of our coaching team is FA-qualified and holds an up-to-date DBS certification. Whenever we welcome a new coach, we ensure that—alongside meeting the above criteria—they are fully trained in safeguarding practices and first aid. Our coaches also complete regular refresher courses so their training never becomes outdated.

We pride ourselves on a commitment to equality and fairness. We never discriminate on gender, race or culture, and we take any accusations or actions of this nature very seriously. Our aim is not only to help develop the children under our care as footballers but also as people. We provide a safe and inclusive environment where children can develop their social and communication skills.

Sponsorship helps us fund equipment, facility hire and player bursaries, keeping football accessible for all. If your business would like to sponsor Westside, please email westside@seanmcinnessportscoaching.com.
